So I've been obsessing over Volkswagen Campervans ever since I can remember. According to my younger self I referred to them as 'Doogiebuses' if that's even how you spell it? I have no idea where that word came from but hey, kids make up weird stuff. I finally decided to spend my savings on a T25/T3 Transporter camper after changing my travel plans. I'm hoping after her Full Service on Monday, she'll be mechanically sound and trustworthy.. although she literally drove me 200 miles on my first drive home from where I picked her up. I'd say that's pretty trustworthy! I'd love to rip out the interior and go for a modern bohemian kind of vibe but it's all original and I kinda love it. It sleeps 4 berth, with a Rock 'n' Roll bed and High top bunk bed; including 4 seat belts. A sink with a pump tap, 2 hobs, a grill and a 3 way fridge. Don't forget the solar panel!! Before I start throwing my money at changing things up and fixing her, I'm hoping to do a few months in Europe over the summer.
